Abstract

Abstract The effect of proposed training units using small-sided games on improving motor coordination among U13 football players." ” An experimental study conducted on a sample from the Jeel Mustaqbal Zahana football team for under-13 players.” This study aims to investigate the effect of proposed training units using small-sided games on improving motor coordination in football players under 13 years old (U13), through a field study conducted on the Jeel Mustakbal Zahana Football Team. The study sample consisted of 24 players from the same team, who were randomly divided into two equal groups: an experimental group and a control group, with 12 players in each group. The experimental group followed a training program based on small-sided games, while the control group trained according to the traditional training program. The experimental method was adopted, using pre- and post-tests to measure general and specific motor coordination. Data were processed using SPSS software, employing the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, paired-samples t-test, and independent-samples t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in motor coordination levels in the experimental group compared with the control group, both in pre-test and post-test comparisons and between groups, in favor of the experimental group.
