It's honestly disappointing how much public money gets wasted on poor deals especially in developing countries like Algeria . In some cases, around 20 to 25 percent of government budgets just vanish, mainly due to corruption. While governments are aware of the problem and have taken steps to use public funds more wisely, challenges remain. One popular solution has been e-procurement using digital tools to manage public buying more fairly and efficiently. But even with these systems in place, corruption and human error still manage to sneak in. That’s why Blockchain technology is getting so much attention. It's not just a buzzword it actually offers a way to make systems more secure, transparent, and hard to manipulate. Because everything on the Blockchain is traceable and can't be altered, it creates trust. In our research, we looked at how Blockchain could improve government procurement processes, especially in selecting suppliers. The goal is to make everything clearer, more accountable, and harder to exploit.
