Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and explain the role of the commercial port in activating the foreign trade movement taking the port of Mostaganem a special case. This port becomes a famous and reputable through its strategic location and absorptive capacity in the near future. In our study, we relied on the descriptive and analytical approach in order to achieve the desired results. The study shows that the port has a big role in the economy of the country, but it needs to develop high quality for the purpose of parallel and international ports in its services.
