dc.description.abstractThe objective of this study is the elimination of inorganic pollutants by marine biomass made from the red algae Coralina elongata. we studied the capacity of NICKEL in two concentrations 14mg / l, 16mg / l by the biosorbent as a function of time, dose, pH and temperature. The optimal conditions for maximum nickel removal: pH 5.2, an adsorbent dose of 0.6g and a contact time of 30min respectively. The langumir model applied to the results of the experiments carried out and allows obtaining a maximum absorption capacity by the marine biomass of 12.34. Based on our results, the selected marine biomass shows great promise in the treatment of water contaminated with inorganic pollutants. The enhancement of local natural resources can be harnessed in the context of sustainable development by reducing pressure on the environment and giving appreciable added value to underused natural substances.
