dc.description.abstractIn recent years, the number of victims of medical errors in Algeria has increased, whether in public hospitals or private clinics, where it has become one of the most important places that have become very interested in our current situation, especially with the developments that have been enjoyed by the health sector, so this brief study came with the aim of knowing the extent of the impact of medical errors on the quality of health service and by highlighting general concepts about medical errors and the quality of the health service and their relationship and ways of reducing them. On the theoretical side, on the practical side, we have followed the analytical approach to study the reality of medical errors in public hospitals, so that we distributed a questionnaire limited to (51) patients residing in a hospital and recovered (47) forms, and this study was able to reach that it is necessary to develop health services in accordance with the needs of patients and pay more attention to the human resource in order not to make medical mistakes, but in general patients satisfied with the service provided to them by the institutionen_US
