Impact environnemental de la station d’épuration des eaux usées urbaines de Salamandre-Mostaganem

Abstract

The performance of a treatment plant is the main factor for evaluating the quality of water discharged into natural environments. This work is based on the estimation of the efficiency of the sewage treatment plant in the city of Mostaganem and is based on knowledge of the organic pollution presented by the parameters COD, BOD5, N-NH4 and MES at the inlet and at the station exit. For the data processing, we studied the monthly evolution of the analyzed parameters, also a calculation of several coefficients was made: the biodegradation coefficient at the entry of the station to estimate the aptitude for degradation of water pollution , and the contamination coefficient at the exit of the station to define at what point the water is cleaned.
