Abstract

Total quality management is one of the most important of these systems whose application leads to achieving effectiveness in university education in Algeria, because the strategic commitment to the principles of total quality management contributes to improving the system's opportunity to adapt positively to the challenges of the new global climate. The aim of the research was to identify total quality management in higher education institutions between reality and expectations as we took Abdul Hamid Ibn Badis University as a study sample, where we discussed in this research the theoretical approaches to the concepts of the study, its importance and requirements for its application in institutions of higher education. He concluded the research paper to provide some recommendations that explain to higher education institutions the importance of applying TQM in them
