L’hérédité de la coloration de la robe chez les bovins

Abstract

This study was conducted at the ferme of Mr SI DJEDI, in the common Boughirat, exactly 27km in the Wilaya de Mostaganem. The study is based on the characterisation of the coat color in cattle by principle of the examination of the profile of adult animals and their offspring, with a phenotypic profiling on a total head of cattle whose 2 races (70 Hostein, 30 Montbéliarde). The results revealed by the genotypic frequencies calculated as Holstein (black 60% - red 25%) et Montbéliarde 100%, and the allic ED domic alellic e. This results revealed that coat color is qualitative influenced by a small number of genes.
