Pouvoir antibactérien des flavonoïdes de Marrubium vulgare L

Abstract

0TMarrubium vulgare is an herbal found among populations, recognized by its therapeutic interest, a phytochemical study was conducted to provide evidence of its effectiveness and to expand its use in the chemical and biological fields for chemical purposes in medicine, regarding to its antimicrobial and antioxidant power. Analyses were used to isolate one of the main secondary metabolites, flavonoids. CCM analysis revealed the presence of flavonoids in extract isolated from the leaves. Preliminary tests showed some secondary metabolites such as catechiques tannins, saponins, anthocyanins, terpenes and sterols and flavonoids, the content of these is about 8.6% in the extract obtained from the leaves of the plant studied. The antibacterial activity tests have shown the antibacterial power of flavonoids, the bactericidal effect varies with the nature of the strain and the substance tested.
