Abstract

In recent years, corporate governance has attracted the attention of many researchers and experts and many relevant international bodies and organizations. Perhaps the most prominent reason for this concern is the global crises that hit many countries, and the results of the investigations of large manipulations, and mismanagement in many institutions, Both in developed and developing countries. This study aims at studying the subject of governance and its role or its reflection on the financial performance of the economic institutions in Algeria through following a descriptive approach in the first chapter, based on the various references. The applied side was followed by analytical descriptive approach. Our study of the analysis of the data obtained from the questionnaire addressed to the staff of the mostaganem port corporation . The study concluded in both chapters that there is a positive reflection of governance on the financial performance of the institution in question
