Caractérisation physico-chimique et bactériologique de l'eau potable produite par la station de dessalement de l’eau de mer de Sonacter - Mostaganem

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the physicochemical and microbiological quality of desalinated water produced by the Sonactar seawater desalination plant (Mostaganem) and to compare it with that of certain bottled still mineral waters (Ifri, Lalla Khedidja, Bouglez, and Guedila) and with current Algerian standards to ensure its compliance. Furthermore, during our internship at the plant, we observed the various stages of the seawater desalination process to understand the process used to make the water potable and to monitor the different analyses performed to control the produced water.
