Abstract

Water availability is one of the most important factors contributing to the good and full growth of all plants. As a consequence of these conditions the agricultural domain suffers due to lack of water. We mater a study of the effect of water stress on the morpho-physiological behavior of the Magister hybrid 1 variety green pepper culture. In this experiment we treated the pepper with two doses of 100% water (1 liter) & 50% (0.5 liter) of the water retention capacity of the water retention capacity of the soil. The results showed that the 50% dose affected the morphological parameters studied (stem length; roots and height of the plant) that caused a deficiency in them. Also the same for the physiological parameters we obtain a decrease in the total water content with an average of 78.27% of the dose 50% and 83.91% of the dose 100%, the relative leaf water content an average of 67.05% of the dose 50% with 67.07% of the control dose but we found a difference in the rate of chlorophyll in the leaves of which the average of the 50% dose was a little 2.17% compared to the control of 2.31%.
