Abstract

Our study aims to introduce SMEs and development institutions as one of the most important concepts and pillars in modern economics. That is why we used in our study both descriptive approaches that depend on the scientific material drawn from a number of reliable references and the analytical approach in analyzing the data of the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and translating them into tables and figures in order to Coming out with a set of results, the most prominent of which was the great impact of the S&M institutions on achieving economic and social development in Algeria, despite the problems it suffers from in financing and real estate... That is why it is advisable for those in charge of this field to provide greater care to the institutions that have succeeded in their march to be a model for others, and to work to help, support, accompany and follow up on emerging institutions or those that find problems in their beginning.
