Abstract

The stock market is an effective system for the exchange of money, and it is a framework through which a balance is achieved between the moneysaved (the lender(and the financial deficit (the investor).Wherethe study aimed to know the role of the stock market in financing economic development through the volume of trading and the number of deals listed on the Algerian Stock Exchange. And the prosperity of economic growth through the revitalisation ofsmall and medium enterprisesand their encouragement in the stockexchange (domesticinvestment), which led to the diversification of traded securities and the increase in the number of Companies listed on the Algerian Stock Exchange .
