Abstract

Through this study, we seek to shed light on the reality of small and medium enterprises by identifying the conceptual framework for them, their importance and ways of financing them. Small and medium ones because of their great importance in advancing the wheel of development, and Algeria, like other countries, seeks to upgrade this sensitive sector because of its impact on the income and added value of the country and on absorbing unemployment. In view of the limited financial and material resources of these institutions, Algeria has developed programs and plans to solve the problem of financing, which, despite intensive efforts, still stands as an obstacle to the development of small and medium enterprises. Through that, this study aims to examine the obstacles to financing these institutions.
